Drinking "in the green"
Bars, cafés etc. with a terrace outside surrounded by trees or plants are hard to come by in Brussels. Most of the time, you are forced to sit somewhere next to the street. I am looking for recommendations for places in Brussels where you can sit outside in the summer "in the green" and enjoy a drink.
The National Botanical Gardens, Meise.

Go to the old orangerie and sit on the terrace.
I know it's not strictly Brussels.
In Brussels there's one of my favourite spots for an evening drink - I think it is the Place de la Liberté, just of Rue de la Congrès.
Oh, and Beersel. Go to the Castle just off junction 19 there's a bar with terrace overlooking a ... castle!
Not strictly Brussels though.
One of my top 10 unusual places to drink beer is in the Airplane Museum at Cinquantenaire. Not green at all but just so Belgian. There used to be a midday lock-in as well!
In the north of the city, Vilvoorde to be exact, the Drie Fonteinen is also good for green:
When I remember other places I'll post them here.
Cheers.
In Huizingen is an ace place if you have kids too -

Junction 19 of the ring.
Great play areas for the kids, great terrace on a lake in front of a kasteel where you can relax with a beer (other beverages are available).
Head to Rouge-Cloître. There's a great snack bar there, La Vita é bella. Lots of walks before or after, as well as exhibitions. http://www.rouge-cloitre.be/lieu/lieu_index.php?id=6
The Rouge-Cloître is great for walks. Recommended.
The Guinguettte in the parc du Cinquentaire is fantastic, as it is basically an inner-city location with greenery, drinks and loads of activities such as dance lessons.
