Double Glazing Windows
Dear Xpats, I want to change the windows and window frames throughout my apartment. The windows I currently have are single glazed. I would like to replace them with double glazed. Can someone please recommend a professional person/company who I can contact for the job? I want someone who will do a good job at a reasonable price. Many thanks in advance for your help.
Hi ukexpat you don't say if you want wood or modern materials. If the later You could try contacting Iain king he's a British carpenter and he could give you a quote for double glazed windows. Turns up when he says and competitive prices. He also speaks some French.

Iain will do upvc but if you'd would rather have metal grams I'm not sure if he'd do that

Belisol - offices all over -- We have used them twice - they have a website with addresses of showrooms etc
Third time we used a local firm -- who offered replastering around the frames as an option
(We had our house done in 3 stages)
What I would say is try to negotiate price down - in all 3 cases the first price was not the final offer.
And do visit a showroom or see other examples. -- get prices from a few places to compare - and check what is included (if it isn't stated on the contract - it might not be included)
