Disneyland Paris to recruit for jobs in Belgium

11:03 25/02/2015

The Paris branch of the Disneyland amusement park will hold a job day next month in Belgium to recruit employees in time for the upcoming theme park season, reports Het Laatste Nieuws. The park claims to have 8,000 vacancies to fill by summer.

Disneyland Paris is hiring, but candidates need not travel to Marne-la-Vallée to apply. The popular amusement park is coming to Belgium on 17 March to recruit catering staff, vendors and entertainers. To fill the 8,000 vacancies, Disneyland Paris is holding job days not only in Brussels, but in other major European cities as well, including London, Madrid, Berlin, Rome and Amsterdam.

"Belgians are especially fond of the park," said Laetitia Raphalen, communications officer for Disneyland Paris. "Every year, we have a lot of Belgians join our ranks. Their seniority is also higher than average. Disneyland Paris employs more than 15,000 workers from about 100 different countries, but does not work with quotas by nationality.”
