Dismissal letter from employer

Question

Hi all,

I have recieved a dismissal letter from my employer starting from 1.5. The notice period is 7 months so I could stay until the end of the year. In the meantime I found a new job where I would be able to start from 1.8. Do you know what is the rule if you would like to go before the notice period, in my case 7 months.
