Difficulty with Passenger Locator Form to travel to Belgium
I am travelling to Belgium by Eurostar from London shortly. For some reason the form will not accept my uk mobile number so I have been unable to get the Code you need for the form to be valid. This will prevent me travelling at all unless I can solve it. I’ve tried & tried. Did any one else have this issue? (I don’t have a Belgian mobile only uk).
I have completed the PLF several times successfully albeit with a Belgian mobile number but since this has to be input in international format anyway it should work equally well with a UK number in international format.
Enter your mobile number in the format +447--------, assuming that your number in UK format is 07--------, then tap on the green box which says "Send me a confirmation code (by SMS)". You should get a text (=SMS) almost immediately with the six-digit confirmation code to be entered immediately under the green box.
I have a UK mobile and have completed the form without issue.
As BECASSE states, use the international format for your number. i.e. +447XXXXXXXXX
I had the same issue just now (with UK mobile #). Might be your browser. It didn't work with Firefox, but worked with Edge.
