De Crem to represent Belgium at Thatcher funeral

Vice-PM and defence minister Pieter De Crem will represent Belgium at the funeral of the former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher, reports Flanders News. Thatcher died last Monday at the age of 87 and the ceremony takes places in London’s Saint Paul's Cathedral on Wednesday. She was Britain’s first and so far only woman prime minister. Invitations to the funeral were sent to more than 2,000 celebrities, dignitaries, colleagues and friends, including former US presidents, Joan Collins and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
