Dalai Lama to speak in Brussels in September

13:48 26/02/2016

His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism, is coming to Brussels on 11 September to give a talk at Palais 12. The 14th Dalai Lama, whose real name is Tenzin Gyatso, travels around the world to offer his thoughts and insights on a wide range of issues of concern to humanity, such as universal responsibility, love, compassion and kindness.

Later this year, the Dalai Lama will come to Brussels to lead a public conference on individual engagement and global responsibility. The event in Palais 12 at Brussels Expo is expected to take place under strict security. Members of the audience are requested to bring their identity cards, and to leave handbags and backpacks at home.

Tickets for the conference went on sale yesterday under three price categories: €12.50, €33.50 and €104.
