Cycling Cornish fire crew coming to Belgium

Firefighters from Penzance in Cornwall are preparing for a memorial cycle ride around Belgium to raise funds for charity, reports the Falmouth Packet. The 10-strong team from Orange Watch at Penzance fire station plan to embark on their World War One commemorative ride in September, visiting sites of historic interest along the way and laying a wreath at the Menin Gate Memorial. The ‘Ride 2 Remember’ will raise funds for the Royal British Legion and the Fire Fighters Charity.
