Creighton University sets up exchange programme with Namur
Creighton University, in Omaha, Nebraska will soon offer an exchange program with Namur University in Belgium, writes the Omaha World-Herald’s Lizzie Johnson. Officials from Creighton will today sign a cooperative agreement with the Walloon university. The agreement allows Creighton students to study in Namur, and vice versa. Creighton already has cooperative agreements with two foreign: Sogang University in Seoul and Sophia University in Tokyo. This will be its first formal agreement with a European university. Namur University is one of the few remaining Jesuit universities in Europe and is similar in size and scope to Creighton. It has schools and colleges in arts, informatics, sciences, business, law and medicine. It is one of only 10 Jesuit universities worldwide with a medical school.
