We bought our sofas from the outlet store of http://www.offermann-salons.be/ in Wavre. (You can negotiate some on price there). We wanted leather (easy to wipe clean) with a steel frame for children climbing all over. 5 years later I am still very pleased with the one we got!

P.S. I would go there and tell them your price range and see what you can snag.

Anyone know how to get rid of a old sofa if you buy a new one, ours I doubt people would want on free cycle the leather has a hole where the dog lies on the top.
