Cost of adding a lock to door?

Hello,
i am considering adding a lock to my door.
Anyone know the range of cost this would imply?
There is only one lock now, but I have lost a key and do not know where it is.
So I need to feel a little safer and I thought that adding a lock might be a bit cheaper than changing the whole thing, which seems pretty expensive.

If it's an internal door, a new lock is quite easy to fit, and should cost you €20-30 from Brico. Add around €150 + VAT to get a locksmith to fit it for you.

If it's a front door (house or apartment), you need to get a professional locksmith to replace the lock with one that is up to insurance company requirements, otherwise you risk invalidating your insurance policy. Cost €400-600+VAT
