Compost

I'd like to make my own compost by recycling the normal kitchen waste (fruit/vegetables peels; eggs; etc) problem is I do not live in a house with a garden (but I have a big balcony though) and the compost plastic boxes I saw in a couple of garden centres are just too big for my needs.

Does anyone know where to find smaller size compost boxes anywhere around brussels? A friend of mine that studied in Manchester told me it was pretty common to find them in there, so I thought it could be a good idea to replicate the idea here too.

Any ideas?
