Collective dismissal - outplacement/employment cell
Hello,
I am experienced IT professional, recently our company announced collective dismissal of 70% of their IT staff including myself. As a part of it I have been offered an employment cell - VDAB together with Randstad/RiseSmart provide some guidance /support with job search, trainings, workshops etc.
Does anyone have any experience with outplacement/employment cell and particularly with mentioned organizations?
Would appreciate to hear any feedback.
Other than being mandatory for collective dismissals, they do help to some extent. Not for finding you jobs but to help you get there.
They help with contract negotiations, networking tips, Taxation, getting into freelancing/self employed etc. Randstad and/or its affiliates are good for this purpose.
