cheap place for an MRI scan around Brussels
Raises a few issues, none of which I think will help, but her goes anyway...
You cannot be here legally unless you have "sickness insurance". It is compulsory. If you see a mutuelle and sign up, I think that is backdated to the date you started working or being resident. If you forgot to do it or were not aware that you had to do it, do it now.
If you are not entitled to Belgian health coverage, go back to your home country and get medical treatment there.
"We have basic insurance with euromut", says "WSP" last summer.
What happened?
don't think you'll find cheaper than 200 euros as that is the "ongoing" rate in Belgium, I would say, since prices of MRI are standard across Belgium, or at least that's what my doctor explained to me. Maybe it might be 10-20 euros cheaper depending on the MRI, but you're not going to find a place that does an MRI for 50 euros, for example.
Baron Lambert clinic in Etterbeek has a smaller MRI machine able to scan only certain parts of the body. Price is around 160EUR. Contact them directly for further details and whether they can do the type of scan you require. Waiting times are very short!!
All the best,
