Changing to gas
I've answered this question before as I did the deed and kept a note of the details.
Post and email address and I'll let you know.
Could you please share the details with me as well? tarapulka@gmail.com. Thanks in advance
You don't say whether your house is already connected to the gas. In that case, the costs can be relatively low, depending on how old your boiler is. Some (newer) mazout boilers can be converted at relatively low cost, older ones would have to be replaced, which would obviously cost more. If you're not actually connected to the gas main, then you'd also have to pay for that connection.
FYI - It is possible to pay for Mazout on a monthly basis as well. It depends on the company. I'm out in Lasne, but I use this company www.gaillymazout.be and have a monthly standing order with them. Lots of mazout companies offer this service.
You may want to investigate that before going to the expense of converting to gas.
It depend on the type of gas boiler needed to heat your house as well as labour cost for installation. Total cost we paid was around 3000 including the boiler and installation, for a powerful boiler. Its important to get the right strength of boiler for your house I believe.
