Change to Belgian drivers licence-How?

Question

Hi,

My drivers license expired and I need to renew it. I am from an EU country and according to new rules I can only renew it in the country I am registered. Since I am registered in Belgium I have to do it here. Do I do this with the commune or a governmental office, or where? I live in Saint Gilles commune. What do i need to provide them with?

False!!!

Following the Belgian laws, as soon you have got a Residence Permit in Belgium, you had to exchange your drivers license to a Belgian one
