certificate of 'bonne vie'

Question

Dear All,

I have a question concerning a certificate of 'bonne vie' that may be claimed by persons planning to work with minors. It says on my commune's website that issuing such a certificate typically takes 2 days. But what about non-residents who are not registered with the commune (diplomats)? Are they at all eligible for a certificate like that at all?

Thanks in advance.

J

Yes. Takes 2 days. It's usually known as an "extrait de casier judiciaire" - proof you have no criminal record.
If the commune can't give you one, you need to get the equivalent through your diplomatic mission or through the relevant authorities in your home country.
.
If you're not registered, how are you going to work legally? (As you need to register to get a Numéro National, which you need to pay tax and social security)
