Career Interruption

Dear All,

Im considering taking a career interruption in order to give me the time to develop new skills for a new career, i would like to ask the following questions:

How do you request to your employer that i would like to take a career break?

Do i sent my request to HR my manager or both?

Are there any additional asministrative tasks that i need to handle?

During a career interruption am i entitled to full or reduced salary?
