Car trip to Nürnberg -- how it went

Not a question but an update on a previous Q I asked last week:

I used the route suggested by kasseistamper on the Friday leg, which went very smoothly. Quite a lot of roadworks but virtually no traffic. It took me 6 hours and bit including a 30-minute break for dinner.

On the Sunday leg I chose the shortest route, also fine but with some heavy (and slow) tourist traffic, possibly because of the sunny weather.
