Car Rental in Belgium

My family is thinking of vacationing in Slovenia, and we would like to rent a car to travel there and back. However, most of the agencies I've look at so far either forbid taking the rental car to Slovenia or charge you with the full value of the car if it is stolen there. Are there any rental agencies that would allow us to drive from Belgium to Slovenia and back without imposing such Draconian conditions?
