Car regular check - where?

Question

Where could I do a regular check up of my Audi car (change oil, etc.), except the official garage? No warranty anymore. At D'Ieteren they usually want 450-500 eur... Are there any cheaper options?

You can go to any garage. There are multiple chains such as:

https://www.midas.be/fr/entretien/

Also, there are plenty of independent VW / Audi garages that aren't D'Ieteren.

Blimey, that's steep. I think cars should be designed to allow owners to easily do some of these routine maintenance tasks themselves.

@ STEVEY7 - "I think cars should be designed to allow owners to easily do some of these routine maintenance tasks themselves."

They are.

An oil change takes about 15-20 minutes and can be done by pretty much anyone who knows how to use a spanner. Another 5 minutes to change the air filter, and for most cars you don't even need a spanner to get to the air filter, just a simple screwdriver.

Hey ANON,
If I open the hood of my Volvo, I have absolutely know clue how to change it. Maybe I need to watch more YouTube videos - saved me EUR900 last time when I was able to change my heating element and buy one from Brico for EUR80!
Cheers
