Bumper cocaine haul at Brussels Airport over Easter

A drug trafficker was arrested on Sunday afternoon at Brussels Airport with 6kg of cocaine in his luggage. The man arrived on a flight from São Paulo via Portugal and was arrested by the federal police. He has been made available to the prosecution and has appeared in front of a judge. An almost identical catch took place on Saturday, when a Portuguese man was intercepted at the airport with 5kg of cocaine hidden in the false bottom of his suitcase. He, too, had flown from São Paulo.
