Beer for Life crowdfunder
The Brussels Beer Project are holding their latest "beer for life" crowdfunding campaign until Sunday 31 January. The concept is a big success with expats: 15 nationalities have got involved so far. One of the founders is Frenchman Sébastien Morvan who quit his finance job in the City of London to run a brewery. We hear his story.
Pool is Cool
Since 1978 there has been no outdoor public pool in Brussels. The Pool is Cool collective thinks it's time to get the process going from the bottom up. Lien Nauwelaerts, Jorg De Vriese and Louisa Vermoere talked with Richard Harris about how Pool is Cool will accomplish this. Their first goal: a temporary outdoor pool built in time for this summer.

Coming World Remember Me at the British School of Brussels
During the week of 1-5 February, the British School of Brussels will participate in ‘Coming World Remember Me’, a public art project commemorating the centenary of World War I. The aim of this ambitious project is to make 600,000 clay models, each representing a life lost in Belgium during the war. BSB hopes to contribute more than 800 clay models made by students, staff and parents, which will be unveiled in a large outdoor art installation in Ypres in 2018. The school's event organiser Paul Christmas explains more.
