Brussels to see in the New Year with dance, a DJ and firework display
New Year festivities in Brussels will kick off on 31 December at 21.30 at the foot of the Atomium in Heysel.
The City of Brussels has announced a festive programme set to get revellers swinging to the beat of timeless party tracks with DJ Simon LeSaint.
Illuminations are designed to add a party atmosphere until the final countdown. Then at the stroke of midnight, an 18-minute spectacular firework show will light up the skies above the capital and celebrate the start of 2020.
The musical programme continues until 1.00. Party-goers are advised to use public transport with Stib running a free and extended travel service.
Around 57,000 people joined in the end-of-year celebrations in Brussels last year.
