BRBC is delighted to welcome back funky soul band Gemma & The Travellers from Brittany. The band gives a nod to the early deep Soul, R&B, Northern Soul and Funk of the 60s but their unique songwriting gives a refreshing twist. Inspired by the likes of Dusty Springfield, Julie Driscoll, Etta James and Aretha Franklin, Gemma Marchi has a powerful and immediately recognisable voice with personality. The Travellers comprise Philip Petersson on guitar, Guillaume Vogt on bass and Alan Beckman on drums.
BRBC houseband Midnight Mary will be performing their popular R'n'B repertoire, featuring classics by Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Bo Diddley, Elmore James, Junior Wells, Link Wray, Big Mama Thornton, Otis Redding, Al Green and others.

After the concert there is a late blues jam hosted by Roman until 2am.
