Brussels Muzieque presents musical experience for all the family on 14 June
Chamber music collective Brussels Muzieque performs a joyful Father's Day Family Concert, specially designed for babies and young children, on 14 June at 15.00 and 17.00.
This interactive 45-minute musical adventure at the Danish Church in Brussels embarks on a magical journey inspired by Mozart's beloved The Magic Flute.
Together with Prince Tamino, Princess Pamina, and the cheerful bird catcher Papageno, the young audience will travel through enchanted forests, cross a rainbow bridge, meet a friendly dragon, explore a mysterious cave of echoes and dance along with the musicians. Along the way, children are invited to sing, clap, move, laugh, imagine and actively participate in the story.
Featuring beautiful music by Mozart, Bach, Debussy, Rimsky-Korsakov, Bellini and other beloved composers, the concert offers a playful and inspiring introduction to live classical music in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Through storytelling, audience participation, colourful characters and memorable melodies, families will discover the magic of music together.
Performed by an outstanding team of musicians and educators, the concert features Matteo Del Monte, principal flute of La Monnaie opera house; Marta Jakubiec, founder of the DoReMi Brussels Music School and former collaborator of the BBC Singers; Monika Mlynarczyk, co-principal viola of La Monnaie; and Eduardo Tonietto, founder of Brussels Muzieque.
Ticket prices: €18 for adults; €12 for children.
