Brussels Motor Show off to a strong start

11:24 19/01/2015

The 93rd annual Brussels Motor Show had a successful first weekend, with about 140,000 visitors, an increase of 2% compared with the record edition in 2013, which ended its first weekend with 136,672 visitors, reports De Standaard based on figures from the Belgian Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Industries (FEBIAC).

It is still too early to predict whether 2014 will see more visitors than the previous year, when organiser FEBIAC welcomed 385,000 visitors. For this edition FEBIAC aims for a total of 390,000 visitors, it announced at the opening of the popular event.

The motor show, which features light commercial vehicles, recreational vehicles and motorized two wheelers including motorcycles, takes place in Brussels Expo and runs through next Sunday, 25 January.
