Brussels Airlines to honour artist Magritte
Brussels Airlines has revealed plans to honour the surrealist art of Belgian painter René Magritte this spring. The airline provided a sneak peek via Instagram and Twitter, with a teaser image of one way the company might unite its aircraft with Magritte's art, writes Brusselnieuws.
Brussels Airlines used social media to offer a glimpse into the new campaign, with the post: “This Spring, #Magritte and #BrusselsAirlines merge their two worlds. Stay tuned for more news in the coming months!”.
Magritte's paintings have previously inspired the marketing campaigns of famous brands. Delvaux last year launched a collection of handbags titled Dans les nuages, which featured prints of Magritte's bright blue sky with clouds. Neuhaus chocolates once launched a set of gift boxes depicting Magritte's famous bowler hat.
