I'd like to add that I've had a biopsy before, 11 years ago, in my home country. I am not aware of the procedures in Belgium.
Well it’s an old question but I think my answer would be helpful for someone else, if seeking for the same issue.
Women having abnormal mammogram or a lump in breast have to go for breast biopsy in which, small piece of breast tissue is taken for testing. It is done to determine whether the affected area is cancerous or benign. Normally, a breast biopsy can be done simple with a needle or else via surgical procedure using advance medical equipments designed by companies as http://www.ilexmedical.com/products.php?act=cat. In case, no cancer is detected then the diagnosis of a benign or harmless-lump is reassuring.
