Boating holiday - Midi region France

My partner and I would like to go boating in the Midi region in France during the month of May/June. Any suggestions which company to go with? Just the two of us looking for a relaxing holiday on the canal stopping off at picturesque villages along the way to sample the local culture....wishing we were there already!
