Biker2Biker comes to Brussels campuses
Biker2Biker.be, an online platform launched by the Brussels-Capital Region to encourage cycling in the capital, has teamed up with Brussels Mobility for a special event at Brussels universities.
The universities will be treated to a visit by Get Insane, a team of trial bikers, skate boarders, BMX-ers, free runners and monocyclists that gives professional demonstrations. Afterwards, the students get to have a go at the different bikes around a parcours. The first 50 students from each campus to register online with Biker2Biker get a free one-year subscription to Villo!, Brussels’ public bike sharing network.
With the event, Brussels Mobility aims to persuade more young people that cycling in Brussels is fun, safe and convenient. Biker2Biker is today at the campus of UCL Woluwe, and at the VUB campus on Monday, October 13.
