I am trying to figure the best way to get my new bicycle back to Amsterdam this weekend. I will be taking the train from Brussels Centraal on Sunday afternoon/evening. Just taking a direct IC train, not a fast train. Anyone done this before?

No problem at all, look out for the waggons with extra space for bikes. Enjoy AMS and have it well locked all the time you don't bike.
