In 2013, full-time employees in Belgium earned on average €3,300 gross per month, according to the latest figures from the FPS Economy.

The results show that exactly half of Belgium's full-time employees take home a gross monthly salary that falls between €2,000 and €3,000. The majority of these employees, or just over 14%, earn between €2,500 to €2,750. The figures also reveal that 5.6% of employees earn more than €6,000 gross.

The pay gap between men and women remains in Belgium, with men earning 7% more on average, or up to 20% more among part-time employees.
