Belgian / French boarder

Question

Hi Just wondering has anyone crossed the boarder between Belgium and France in the last few days. Since the new boarder checks were put into effect. I have go to Lille on Saturday and was wondering, is there long delays at the boarder, was there a steady flow of cars. Trying to gauge the time I'll need for the boarder. (EU citizen and E+ Belgian identity card also if this matters) Thanks

Take your passport, they might accept your Belgian E+ card but they are not obliged to because it isn't an identity card issued by the state of which you are a citizen.

We came across Calais crossing via eurotunnel, minimal checks for us white European looking, no police at all on French Belgian borders img round via Dunquirke and Coast road. However it's a changeable situation so I'd check traffic pages and ensued you have all relevant documents
