Proximus TV seemed to have cancelled BBC Four, so we are thinking of changing to Voo - has anyone made this change and did both Proximus and Voo manage the change without too much stress?
No. It's BBC3 that has gone online-only.
I don't think we even get cbbc but hey enough English language garbage in the other channel s
BBC Four carries a lot more than English garbage. Part of its programming consists of "educational" films prepared in association with the Open University, another part consists of sitcoms and series that appeal only to a minority audiences, with examples including Detectorists and Hinterland. Another part is purely cultural, last year we had a look at Scottish Art and the Art of Scandinavia, and Mary Beard in Pompeii, for example.
The quality of these programmes is streets ahead of the sort of thing you find on the History Channel or the National Geographic channel, partly because it is pitched at a more culturally minded audience.
The loss of BBC Four will for me at least represent a considerable impoverishment and I very much regret it.
" I think BBC4 is only available online now- even in the UK."
No, that's bbc3. Bbc4 is still broadcasting free to air.

If it's that serious, can you not get a satellite dish and Freesat receiver?
> The loss of BBC Four
