Banks in Belgium
Does anyone have a recommendation for a bank for a current account in Belgium these days? I have been with ING for many years, but the service in past two-three years has gone downhill. Is it same situation at all the banks?! I prefer one which has an English facility, which not all seem to have. Thanks.
I gladly switched from ING to KBC some years ago. KBC has their issues, but are much better than ING.
I've been happy with Beobank. The only thing is that the monthly administration fee is about 9 Euro if you don't have at least 10.000 Euro on your accounts.
I've been with KBC since I moved here 30 years ago and have never had any problems with them. However we used to live in an area with 3 convenient KBC branches and there is no doubt that the service in one was far better than in the other two so it may be worth trying a different branch of ING before changing to another bank.
