ATM calais - pounds

Question

Goodmorning all, I'm going to the UK tomorrow morning. I need some pounds in cash but my local bank doesn't have any. I know I can get some in Brussels but was wondering if there is an ATM at the channel tunnel terminal in Calais where I can withdraw pounds? Seems like the easiest solution. Thanks a lot for your help!

Rico

Why not withdraw from a UK ATM once you cross the channel?

I believe that there is an ATM in the service station on the right hand side of the egress road from the Eurotunnel terminal at Folkestone. This will obviously dispense pounds.

As others have said, just go to a ATM in the U.K. I've never stopped at the service station immediately you leave the channel tunnel, but if you're driving towards London, then Maidstone Services has an ATM that I use with my Belgian bank card all the time.

There is an ATM in the Calais terminal, but it dispenses Euro's. Partly so people will take Euro's out, and then get royally ripped off changing it to sterling at the bureau de change immediately next to it.

Yes there is an arm and will ask you which currency you'd like euro or GBP.
It will probably make a charge to use it though
