artisanal honey

At a christmas market I bought last week a pot of honey made artisanally (saveurs provencales). I opened the pot recently but did not hear the click one hears when there is vaccum in the jar (like when you buy commercial jam etc). Is this normal ? I tried to reach the producers (in France) but no answer. Thanks in advance.
