Brussels’ Armenian community yesterday marked the 98th anniversary of the genocide at the hands of Ottoman Turkey, reports news.am. Spiritual leaders held a memorial ceremony, followed by speeches by the president of the Armenian community in Belgium, Michel Mamuryan, and the head of the Armenian delegation to Nato, Ambassador Armen Yedigaryan. Genocide victims were honoured by Senate vice-president Armand De Decker, representatives of the government, politicians from several parties and public figures, intellectuals and journalists.
