Anyone live in Chaumont-Gistoux or Genappe?

We're looking for a place to buy and both Chaumont-Gistoux and Genappe have caught our eye for various reasons. Wondering if anyone lives in either and what you think of it? We don't have a commute so that's not a factor, but still interested to hear if things are regularly congested. Otherwise, looking to see if the communities are friendly, and if they do much to build community locally. We have 2 small children so ease of friend-making with the locals is a big factor (and we are here permanently, husband is Belgian). Do you manage to find everything you need (health care, shopping, services such as haircuts) locally or do you end up driving in towards a bigger place? Cheers.
