Anyone experienced knee injections?

Question

If anyone has used (or knows someone who has used) knee injections of growth factors isolated from one's own blood to treat degradation of cartilage I would appreciate sharing your experience: how beneficial was it compared to injections of hyaluronic acid and who did the procedure if it was in Belgium?

Hello, I did not experience something like that but I am a physiotherapist and I had contact with patients who underwent such an intervention. I want to tell you that it is working well for patients with cartilage degeneration. It can significantly decrease the level of pain and increases functionality. What you also have to know is that you have to increase the strength in the muscles that are stabilizing your knee.

The procedure is well know in Belgium and I think it is best done in university hospitals.

Good luck!
