I know you mention zoos, but Pari Diaz out towards mons have tons of birds, this include big things like flamingos. Those you aren't the other side of a cagey pu walk quite close to them They also have birds of prey. Also not clear if it closes for the winter.
if you mean garden birds or water fowl. Tervuren park has lots of ducks. If your after crows and sparrows lots out in the fields around Overijse. Also see a hawk sometimes. Also the plant terium have flocks of parquets flying around, but not sure if they migrate,
Antwerp Zoo is right next to Antwerp Centraal station. It is also linked to
Domein Planckendael in Muizen about 5 kms from Mechelen on the road to Leuven.
Both have extensive collections of animals.
If you have the twitching gene and like waterfowl, the lakes between Sint Agatha Rode and Sint Joris Weert (10 minutes from Overijse) have a good observation 'lodge' (no facilities but good views). The migrants will start passing through very soon.

is pretty good. I've been once, and was working round there for a while, and could see peacocks (I think) roosting wild around. But its about 50km from Brussels.
Also, I've seen literally 100s of parakeets flocking around Avenue du Roi near Gare du Midi. Not an indigeous species, and a bit of a pest apparently. I was told that they're birds who have bred in the wild after been let go or escaped from captivity. But like I say, 100s or more. Look like little green parrots.
Nethenbob where is said hide located tempered to drive that way one day to see
