20 Brussels events in 2020: #16. Zoo

MIMA (Millenium Iconoclast Museum of Art) showcases a wide variety of contemporary art forms from punk, rock, electro, hip hop and folk to graphic arts, illustration, design, cinema, performance, comic strips, tattoos, fashion, graffiti, street art, skateboard, surf and extreme sports.

A large number of these different art forms will be on display for their show Zoo which explores anthropomorphism. From the 40,000 year-old Lionman statue to SpongeBob SquarePants, humans have imbued animals and gods with human attributes. This will be a show that pops with colours.
