Travelling to the London from Belgium

Good day all,
Has anyone recently travelled to the UK or return from the UK to Belgium. Can you please share your experience? I want to know how the border rules are since May 2021. I read the news and saw they are refusing some EU citizens entry.. I am planning on moving some used household appliances to the UK for gift a family friend. Like wash maching, TV, mattress etc.. Also any advice on the best way to move or get a cheap cargo service?
