*10 Mar: Ambassador Training for European Brains @ Work Project with Joanne Norris During the training, the participants will receive a thorough grounding in information about ADHD, autism and Learning Disabilities so that they are aware of the indicators and what these mean for individuals in the workplace. The trainee ambassadors will be encouraged to focus on the strengths and special talents that people with these characteristics often have, which can include creativity, high levels of energy, crisis management skills, visual thinking, thinking outside the box, pattern recognition, detail orientation, the ability to hyper-focus for long periods of time, quickly grasping the big picture, etc. and how they can use these strengths to compensate for any limitations they might have because of their neurological differences. Very often, adults with special brains are themselves unaware of what they could offer because the focus during their entire schooling was on their limitations and they thus find themselves in lower-level positions unsuited to their talents. Low self-esteem is often an additional issue. Registration & further info: info@adhd-
