Offering a fully-furnished, serviced bedroom in a group house occupied by professionals in their thirties, forties and fifties.  This bedroom is on the second floor, overlooking the street.  For longer-term rentals, this room is really only suitable for a single person.

The room contains a large double bed (160cm wide).

The bedroom is approximately 16 m2 and additionally contains a built-in wardrobe, a bookshelf, a large desk, a computer chair, a chest of drawers, a flat-screen TV and a DVD player.

Internet is available via wi-fi or cable throughout the house. Proximus HD TV with many channels in a multitude of languages in the bedroom itself.

Bed linen and towels provided.

Tea and coffee-making facilities in the bedroom.

Use of a new shower room and separate toilet on the same floor, shared with only one other person who is rarely there. Hair dryer provided.

Shared use of Miele kitchen on the ground floor with three or four other people. Kitchen has all new appliances and dishwasher.

The living room has a very large TV with Telenet Digital TV with channels in many languages and a DVD player.

Use of washing machine and dryer in the basement, as well as indoor drying/hanging space.

The house is cleaned twice a week, and towels and sheets are changed regularly. Ironing is included in the monthly rent. Rent also includes water, heating, electricity, internet, HD TV, toilet paper and laundry detergent.

This is a typical Belgian row house with five floors, built in 1933 and completely gutted and renovated in 2009. It now has new insulation on the back and front facades, solar hot water, triple glazed acoustic windows (which eliminate street and aircraft noise), captured filtered rain water for the toilets and washing machine, a controlled ventilation system, new heating, new electricity, new plumbing, and a water softener.

Easy access to the European Union institutions on public transport (15 minutes), NATO (10 mins), Brussels Airport, train stations and the centre of Brussels (15 minutes) on 2 bus routes (64 and 65) which stop in front of the house. Tram No. 7 is a 2 minute walk away (for access to the Atomium/Exhibition Halls/Kinopolis Cinemas/Montgomery metro in 15 minutes). 2 minutes walk to the large Park Josaphat (for walks and jogging and a children's playground).

You can also walk to the main European Commission buildings, the European Council and the European Parliament if you are feeling energetic in about 30-40 minutes.  It is only a 10 minute walk to the European Commission buildings which accommodate the Directorate-General for Translation.

Evere domestic train station is a 10 minute walk away.

The very large Park Josaphat is a 1 minute walk away, which has a variety of ponds and water birds, rabbits (both wild and pets) two resident donkeys, and jogging and walking paths.

There is a little supermarket in the house next door for basic groceries, or a huge hypermarket (Carrefour Evere) a 10 minute walk down the street or 2 stops on the bus.
