Dixons brings Knowhow to Belgium

11:38 25/04/2013

UK company Dixons has made its first foray into the Belgian market by opening two travel stores at Brussels airport under its Knowhow brand, reports Retail Week’s Tiffany Holland. The electrical retailer opened one shop on Saturday and will open another today. They are the first to open under Dixons’ Knowhow brand, which was introduced in 2011 to offer support for customers’ technology needs, as well as product installation, setup and repair. Knowhow services adapted for airport customers have been available in all Dixons travel stores since last spring. The retailer is offering customers a flight-ready service which ensures products are sold fully charged and with key apps already downloaded to make it more convenient to use the gadgets on their first flight. Dixons Travel head of expansion and development Gavin Wood said: “Knowhow stores are great news for travellers using Brussels airport, who will be able to enhance their travelling experience with our market-beating prices and multi-channel shopping.”
