commune for living

Question

hi, I have been living in leuven for 6 years. i got a job opportunity in antwerp.

i am thinking to travel daily from leuven to antwerp. is it possible..?

is there anyone who does..?

i want to know is antwerp commune good to live in comparison to leuven.

let me know.

CM

Yes, it's possible, but it's a horrible commute by car (about an hour or more, each way in dense traffic) or the same by train. Personally I would think about moving.

Antwerp's a great place to live but quite a bit more expensive than Leuven.

Give it a go and see how it works out. I have done Brussels-Antwerp by car before, and it very much depends on the street-to-street trip. The motorway bit in-between is relatively OK.

You might also want to get stuck into the job and see how it works out.

thanks for the inputs.

I am travelling Antwerp-Leuven by Car.

Morning times its 40min- 1hr approx.

only problem is evening its taking 1hr-2hr to return, if i start at 5 reaching leuven at 7.

I will try for couple of months. if not i need to move to Antwerp.

It'll depend on where you live in Leuven, and where you're trying to get to in Antwerp, but what route are you taking? It may be better to go via Aarschot, and then up the N10 to Antwerp.
