Anne Wetsi Mpoma
Our colleagues at Bruzz International meet Anne Wetsi Mpoma, who was born in Brussels, but her family is originally from Congo. She is an art historian and opened a gallery called Wetsi. After spending some time in New York after her studies, she decided to create a black art market in Belgium to give more visibility to African artists. She believes that African art is still seen as something primitive.
