9th Archennes Beer Festival
Lower key than the Grand Place and easily reachable by public transport, this festival is in its 9th year and offers a wide range of beer and sufficient food too. There will be a few British beers (three Gadds, two Sirens, a Kernel, two BrewDogs, Beavertown Black Betty and St. Austell Proper Job) as well. Check the website for details of the Belgian contingent but the beer list is subject to changes.
Archenne is on the trainline between Wavre and Leuven, check http://www.belgianrail.be/ for connections. Basically it's either go to Leuven and take the train direction Ottignies/LLN, 6th stop or go on the La Hulpe line to Ottignies/LLN and get the train direction Louvain/Leuven, 6th stop. It takes about an hour by train and is about 20 km east of Overijse, to give an idea. Or use Google Maps.
From the train station you have 5 minute walk. Go along the road that runs away from the railtrack and towards obvious habitation, not the one which runs parallel and into the wilds...
